Parish Assembly information
PARISH ASSEMBLY - held on Sunday, January 8, 2012
In preparation for the Bishop's Official Parish Visitation which is scheduled for the weekend of June 9-10, 2012, St. Francis hosted a Parish Assembly. During this Assembly 7 different areas of parish life were discussed: Word, Worship, Service, Community, Stewardship, Leadership, and Evangelization.
The information that was derived at this Assembly from the small group discussions, will be presented to the Pastoral Council beginning at the end of February. The Pastoral Council will then prepare the goals and objectives, or Pastoral Plan, for our parish. The Pastoral Plan along with other parish information will be presented to Bishop Jacobs at a formal meeting on June 9, 2012.
The goals set from this assembly will help keep our parish alive and vibrant. Look for future write ups in the bulletin over the next fews months.
